Terms & Conditions

• Cancellation Policy: If the booking is cancelled after the driver reaches the pickup location, a minimum charge equivalent to 4 hours of service must be paid.

• Verify Driver Identity: Before starting the trip, customers must verify the driver's identity and ensure that the driver possesses a valid Driving Licence.

• Fitness to Drive: If the customer suspects that the driver is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or is otherwise unfit to drive, the trip should not commence. Please report such incidents to Namma Driver immediately.

• Respectful Behaviour: Customers and drivers are expected to treat each other with respect and maintain professional conduct throughout the journey.

• Valid Vehicle Documents: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle has all legally required valid documents, including Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance, Pollution Certificate (PUC), and any other mandatory permits.

• No Illegal Activities: The driver must not be asked or forced to participate in any illegal or unlawful activities during the trip.

• Accident & Insurance: In the event of an accident, the driver will cooperate with the customer and relevant authorities. The driver may provide licence details where legally required for insurance claims. However, all vehicle insurance claims, damages, legal liabilities, and compensation remain the responsibility of the vehicle owner/customer.

• No Insurance Responsibility: If the vehicle does not have valid insurance or required documents, Namma Driver and the assigned driver shall not be responsible for any legal consequences, penalties, or claims arising from such deficiencies.

• Vehicle Damage & Insurance: The driver assigned by Namma Driver is engaged solely to operate the customer's vehicle. Any accident, vehicle damage, mechanical failure, insurance claim, third-party claim, or financial loss shall be the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner/customer. The driver will extend reasonable cooperation and provide Driving Licence details wherever legally required for insurance claim processing. Neither Namma Driver nor the assigned driver shall be liable for repair costs, compensation, or any monetary claims arising from the use of the customer's vehicle. 

• Customer Responsibility: Once the journey begins, the customer/vehicle owner assumes full responsibility for the vehicle, passengers, valuables, and compliance with all applicable laws. Namma Driver's responsibility is limited to providing a driver service and necessary cooperation during insurance or legal procedures.
